Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
What Is Love? Does it last forever? - it was the very first topic that TalkItOver podcast was launched with back in December and collected the highest number of listeners. Nine months later, we are revisiting this hot topic with the new guests and a new twist: Situationship vs Relationship. How to determine which of the 'ships' you are in? What is a situationship? Aren't we all in some sort of 'situation' as it pertains to relationships? Can a situationship become a relationship?
We are not trying to find the right answers. We are just talking it over in our Big Ole Bed. Now let's pull back the sheets...

“As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him.” - Gandhi. Does the same principle apply to love-relationships? Do you even agree that personality is changing through life? Does true love mean that your love partner loves you as you are? When is it necessary to change because your bachelor's habits affecting your love-relationships? Or how to deal with your partner's personality change because of aging? If personality is not fixed, how much you can expect or ask your love-partner to change? Or should you first try to change yourself instead of trying to change your partner? Too many questions to cover.
We are not trying to find the right answers. We are just talking it over in our Big Ole Bed. Now let's pull back the sheets...

The topic of today's episode is: How to balance/choose between the desire to travel and being in relationships. What happens if your partner wants to settle down and not excited about the next flight and a hotel stay? What if your partner cannot travel with you, will you stay? Travel is supposed to broaden the perspective...can travel help you understand who you are? Do some people choose travel vs relationships to escape from the existing reality and run away from themselves? How to find the balance?

Meet The Parents: How To Keep Love and Distance
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
The topic of today's episode is: How to create a healthy well-balanced relationship with your parents? What if you are dating while living with your parents? What if your parents are too involved in your personal life? How to set boundaries? Is it your or your partner's responsibility? But before pulling back the sheets and jump to a regular discussion, we'd like to start our episode with the team's temperature check and reflection on the current social unrest and injustice.
The summer is over and let's admit, we are facing September with even stronger issues and uncertainty. The show is about building relationships and it includes a skill of having a conversation beyond dating and being able to freely speak about problems that affect our lives on a larger scale. We welcome your opinion, please share your thoughts and join the conversation here or on Facebook or Instagram @talkitover.show.
